Alston Moor is situated right at the very top of the Pennines.
We are one of the most remote areas in the UK.
We have a population of 2500 (ish) people spread over 30 sq miles.
Fairhill is situated to the west of Alston on the Nenthead Road.
Take the left fork at the top of the town. And we are a couple of hundred yards the right!
This is the Nenthead Road at the entrance to Fairhill on the right.
