  • Fairhill Youth Art Mural Project

We have an exciting opportunity for children and young people to get involved in.

We are going to paint a mural!

A local artist, Lionel Playford, is running some art workshops where he is working with a group to practice drawing and painting, come up with ideas and then design and paint the mural.

These workshops are open to anyone school aged. 4 to 7 year olds will need to be accompanied by an adult.

We have Fairhill volunteers there to support. Juice and snacks are provided.

We think we need 5 or 6 sessions to create the mural. Workshops began on the 20th January, at the Alston Townhall, where we had lots of fun coming up with ideas, thinking about what Fairhill means to us and sketching in our new sketch books.

The next workshop is on Saturday 27th January 10:30am - 12:30 at Alston Townhall.
