Our new BMX bike track, with its thrilling jumps and challenging twists, offered an exhilarating experience for riders of all ages and skill levels.
The BMX bike track promises endless fun and excitement, where riders can unleash their skills and experience an adrenaline rush like no other.
An exciting project for Fairhill has been the Bike Track. Since 2018, the Trustees have been determined to work to getting a bike track at Fairhill. The decision to do this was very much in response to what we have heard young people of Alston Moor say they would like. Looking at records of past meetings, the idea for a skate park / bike pump track has been discussed as far back as the 1960s.
It is designed for both mountain and BMX bikes, for riders of all abilities. It is a continuous loop of berms (banked turns) and rollers (smooth dirt mounds) that can be ridden by cyclists of all ages and skill levels. This not only builds up BMX riding skills, it is a fun way to promote health and fitness and introduce a new hobby or sport.
