If you’re not familiar with the term, what make a pump track so different to a regular bike track?

A pump track is a specially designed track consisting of a circuit of rollers, banked turns and features created to be ridden by riders "pumping" - generating momentum by up and down body movements, instead of pedalling or pushing.

This kind of movement is physically intense and suitable for everyone, no matter what age or skill level. Furthermore, riding on pump tracks strengthens the development of balance and coordination and gives you all the adrenaline you can handle!

So, not only will the pump track provide endless fun, but it's also a fantastic way to stay active and healthy. It's a whole-body workout that will get your heart pumping and muscles working. Who needs a gym when you have a pump track right on your doorstep?

Safety should always be a top priority when riding on our pump track. Make sure to wear your safety equipment, such as a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and gloves. These will protect you from any potential falls or accidents.

It's also important to know and follow the rules of the track. Pay attention to the signage or instructions posted around the area. Be aware of other riders and always ride in a controlled manner, respecting the space and safety of others.

If you're new to pump tracks or biking in general, it's a good idea to start slow and gradually build up your skills and confidence. Take the time to practice and get comfortable with the track before attempting any advanced manoeuvres.

Pump tracks are all about having a good time and pushing yourself to new limits. Enjoy the ride!
